On Monday morning, the microblogging site X experienced brief problems. For a while, users only saw a loading screen or error message.
Anyone who opened X (formerly Twitter) at around 11:00 on Monday morning may not have seen much. For many people, the home page of X got stuck on a loading screen.
Others got a message that something had gone wrong. The troubleshooting website Downdetector also reported that quite a few reports were coming in about possible problems with X.
The breakdown was short-lived, however. Not long after, everything was back to normal.
