Vice President Mike Pence accuses Senator Kamala Harris of undermining the faith of the American people in the development of a corona vaccine.
Pence echoed President Donald Trump’s earlier statements that a vaccine will be available before the end of this year.
“We’re going to have a vaccine in record time,” Pence said during the debate between the vice presidential candidates. According to President Donald Trump’s running mate, five companies are in the final testing phase.
“The fact that you continue to undermine public confidence in a vaccine when the vaccine is released under the Trump administration is unscrupulous in my opinion,” the vice president told Senator Harris.
Pence responded to a statement Harris made recently about a corona vaccine. She said she was “first in line” if experts advise that it is safe to use. “But if Donald Trump tells us to take it, then I won’t.”
