The Formula 1 team Haas will get a new line-up next year. Frenchman Romain Grosjean and Dane Kevin Magnussen both announced on Thursday that they would leave the American racing stable after this season.
Grosjean is in his fifth year at Haas and has been involved in the premier class of motorsport since the team entered into the world.
“Five years in which I went through peaks and troughs, but the adventure was worth it. I learned a lot, became a better driver and developed myself as a person,” the 34-year-old Frenchman wrote on Twitter. His best result at Haas in 2018 was fourth place in the Grand Prix of Austria.
Magnussen drove for Haas for four years. He can claim two fifth places as the best performance in the car of the team, which bears the name of owner Gene Haas.
“Being part of a new team was a big challenge, and I enjoyed it. It has given me a lot of experience, and I have certainly grown as a driver”, said the 28-year-old Dane.
Grosjean hinted that his Formula 1 career is at an end, Magnussen reported that he would soon reveal his plans for the future. It is also unknown who will drive for Haas in 2021.
