London business confidence in the British economy has plummeted. According to research by the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, entrepreneurs in the British capital are mainly concerned about inflation.
According to the survey, three-quarters of business leaders are less confident about the coming year than they were in the past 12 months. Last year, 36 percent of respondents said they had less economic confidence.
When asked about the top challenges facing their businesses, 60 percent cited rising prices. Inflation was by far the main concern. Inflation in the United Kingdom has risen to more than 11 percent, which appeared earlier on Wednesday.
The survey found that half of the companies cannot find people to fill open positions. In addition, half of the respondents experience problems in the supply chain.
