The American technology group Apple has hired staff for its first stores in India. This was informed by the British business newspaper Financial Times.
Apple wants to open so-called Flagship stores in major Indian cities such as Mumbai and New Delhi.
In addition to store staff, Apple is also looking for people for technical and operational support, for example. There are said to be at least a hundred job openings at Apple for various locations in India.
Apple has long had plans to open physical stores in the country of nearly 1.4 billion inhabitants. Currently, the tech company’s products in India are still sold online.
