Germany is Introducing a Mandatory Corona Test for Travellers from China

Germany is also introducing a mandatory corona test for travellers from China. Health Minister Karl Lauterbach announced this on Thursday.

Travellers from China will at least have to have a rapid antigen test before leaving for Germany, the SPD politician said.

Germany, like Belgium, therefore follows the recommendation of the European Union to introduce a mandatory corona test for travellers from China.

Previously, countries such as France, Italy and Spain had already decided only to allow travellers from China if they could present a negative corona test.
