Largest Taxi Company in Paris Puts Tesla 3 Models Aside After Accident With 1 Dead and 20 Injured

The largest taxi company in Paris is leaving the Tesla 3 models in its fleet of cars unused for the time being. The reason for that decision is a fatal accident that happened last weekend.

In the 13th district of Paris, a driver of the taxi company G7 lost control of his steering wheel on Saturday.

His electric car, a Tesla 3, collided with multiple objects and people before coming to a stop. One person was killed and 20 people injured in the accident. Three of them are still in intensive care.

Police in Paris has opened an investigation into what may have happened. A malfunction, such as an accelerator that got stuck, maybe the cause. The driver says that the brake suddenly stopped working.

According to Tesla, there was no technical problem with the car. Until there is clarity about this, G7 has decided not to use the Tesla 3s anymore. It has about 37; let G7 know.
