Switzerland Reports First Death of A Baby Due to Coronavirus

In Switzerland, a baby died for the first time from the effects of the coronavirus. According to the authorities, it is a baby who was infected abroad, local media reports.

 

In the Alpine country, at least two corona patients, including the baby, died in the past 24 hours.

The authorities have yet to disclose details of that death. It is still unclear how exactly the child was.

The Swiss authorities have so far diagnosed the virus with 30,700 people. At least 1,656 patients died.

It is rare for young children to die from lung disease.
