At least seven people have been killed and 22 injured in shelling in the northeastern Ukrainian region of Kharkiv in the past 24 hours.
That says the governor of the area in an online message.
A 2-year-old boy is said to have been one of the fatalities in the 53 Russian artillery and rocket attacks in the past day.
The information cannot be independently verified. Russia denies targeting civilians during “special military operations” in Ukraine.
