Zelenski: Positions in Negotiations are Becoming More Realistic

According to Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky, the positions taken during the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia have become more realistic.

“But it will probably take some time before Ukraine can make peace with the positions it has taken,” it said in a video message. “We all want victory and peace as soon as possible, but that takes effort and patience.”

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, in turn, said that the damage to the Ukrainian economy as a result of the war with Russia would be very great.

According to preliminary calculations, the direct one-off losses for the country have already amounted to 565 billion dollars.
