Internet Banking ABN AMRO Pool accessible By the DDoS Attack. A DDoS attack has hit ABN AMRO. As a result, internet banking, mobile banking and the website are not available or very slow.

 

That’s what the bank reports on Twitter. Payments via iDeal may not be possible.

In a so-called issued denial of service attack (DDoS), a server blasted to much data traffic. Because server cannot process those services, running from that server are stuck. ABN AMRO maintains that it is not a hack and that the user data of customers are safe.

In the first months of this year, various banks, the Tax Authorities and DigiD were also regularly hit by DDoS attacks. A man from Oosterhout arrested for those attacks.
