LinkedIn Tests Audio Events to Clubhouse Example

The social media platform will launch a feature in the United States that will allow you to organize audio events. Video will be added later. In this way, the company is joining the digital event cart.

The idea of digital or hybrid events is, of course, never far away in current pandemic times.

Video calling company Zoom has already moved in that direction, but LinkedIn’s new function seems to be mainly copied from Clubhouse, the social app for sound conversations.

LinkedIn is now opening an open beta for the feature in the United States, allowing you to set up audio events without installing third-party software. That writes tech site TechCrunch.

The feature includes software to record and moderate conversations. The feature will be free during the beta.
