The number of new daily infections with the coronavirus is increasing in Germany after a few days of decline.
The Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the German counterpart of the RIVM, reported on Tuesday morning that the lung virus was diagnosed in 13,554 people in the last 24 hours.
On Saturday, the RKI reported 22,964 new cases in the previous 24 hours. On Sunday there were 15,741 and Monday only 10,864.
In total, the coronavirus has been diagnosed in 942,687 people since the outbreak of the epidemic in Germany.
Of them, 14,361 ultimately died from the effects of Covid-19. In the last 24 hours, there were 249 corona-related deaths in Germany.
