NetApp Lays Off Eight Percent Of Its Staff

At NetApp, eight percent of employees are fired. This was announced by the CEO of the American storage company, George Kurian, this week.

NetApp will cut staff as part of “planned efforts” to reduce spending and cope with economic challenges.

The global layoffs are expected to be phased in gradually through the end of the fourth quarter of fiscal 2023.

The company expects the operation to cost $85 to $95 million, mainly consisting of severance payments.
