Zoom Announces Zoom Events Conference

Video conferencing platform Zoom has expanded its Events feature to include conferences. That allows users with a Zoom Events license to host multi-session conferences.

The solution was already demonstrated at the end of September during Zoomtopia 2021, which 33,000 participants virtually attended.

Zoom Events Conference offers hosts, among other things, support for multi-day events and events with multiple (up to thirteen) simultaneous sessions. It is also possible to stream sessions in the conference lobby, upload large amounts of speaker information (so-called agenda bulk uploads), and add session videos to introduce speakers beforehand.

Participants can then keep track of which sessions are interesting in one place and thus build their own planning for an event. To simplify the search for sessions, you can filter based on themes, target audience, products or levels. Enhanced analytics tools and built-in sponsorship features complete the picture.

“Where using multiple platforms can be challenging for event organizers, organizers now have powerful features to create virtual experiences, manage large events and engage attendees better than ever,” Zoom said in a press release.
