Apple Hijacks top man from Samsung’s battery Division. Soonho Ahn, the current CEO of Samsung’s battery division, goes to work with competitor Apple.

 

That is on Ahn’s LinkedIn profile. He is now the head of Apple’s Battery Developments department.

Ahn was CEO at Samsung SDI in the last four years, the Samsung company operating on new battery technology.

Apple has been using Samsung SDI batteries for its own devices for a long time.

According to sources, Apple has been trying to become less dependent on Samsung products for years.

By bringing in the home of the competitor, the company could operate on its battery technology.

According to rumours, Apple is also working on its display for smartphones,

 which indicates that the company does not have to buy fewer iPhone screens from Samsung.
