WHO: Europe is Now the Epicenter of Coronavirus Outbreak

Europe is currently the epicentre of the outbreak of the new coronavirus. The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced this.

 

Until Friday, it was China, where the outbreak started, and most infections and deaths were reported.

The number of daily new cases in Europe is higher than it was in China at the height of the outbreak there.

WHO boss Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a video press conference that the 5,000 deaths worldwide are a “tragic milestone.”
